A leading children's health institution in Birmingham seeks a dedicated medical professional to join the Paediatric Hepatology Department. The role involves comprehensive management of children with liver diseases, including peri-operative care and outpatient responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the medical and surgical teams, cover out-of-hours service rotas, and engage in multidisciplinary meetings. This additional post will join the existing post‑graduate medical team of three senior trainees (ST4‑8), one junior trainee (ST2‑3) and two Physician Associates in the Paediatric Hepatology Department at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The successful candidate will work closely with both medical and surgical teams and cover out‑of‑hours service rotas shared between hepatology and gastroenterology. This includes covering hepatology and gastroenterology inpatients from 17:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and from 08:30 to 21:00 on weekends on a rotational basis.
