A governmental organization in the UK is seeking Clinical Education Assurance Leads to ensure supplier training meets clinical standards and contractual obligations. Candidates should have experience in monitoring clinical education programs and engaging with stakeholders. The role includes responsibilities like evaluating training effectiveness and enhancing public trust in clinical standards. This is a crucial position for improving health assessments and fostering strong relationships within the department.
The Clinical Education Assurance Leads are responsible for assuring that supplier-delivered training is clinically robust, contractually compliant, and aligned with DWP’s Core Training and Guidance Materials (CTGM), national CPD best practice, and regulatory standards (e.g. GMC, NMC, HCPC). The role involves monitoring and evaluating clinical education programmes, conducting audits, embedding clinical governance frameworks, and supporting inspection readiness through accurate documentation and evidence of learning.
Acting as a strategic link between the Education and Clinical Governance teams, the postholder engages with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical educators, governance leads, and Health Education England, to observe training delivery, assess its impact on clinical decision-making, and identify trends in learning outcomes. They lead assurance reporting, contribute to policy development, and support continuous improvement across supplier organisations.
