About the role

In this Deputy Manager role you will join a highly-regarded care home provider, with a dedicated and compassionate team that has both your personal and professional development at heart. In addition to providing elderly care, this service also offers nursing care for residents with complex care needs, making for a unique opportunity to develop your existing clinical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified care staff
  • Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Monitoring the well-being of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and care plans, and ensuring that new needs are met
  • Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals
Requirements / Ideal Candidate
  • A qualified nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
  • Have prior experience in a senior clinical position within a care home
  • Good knowledge and use of clinical care systems and governance
  • Have excellent communication & leadership skills
