Main duties of the job
  • Lead the provision of psychological interventions and provide input from a psychological perspective to individuals in prison with difficulties with substance misuse.
  • Supervise and oversee the work of Assistant Psychologists.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing staff, prison staff, and other organisations focused on wellbeing.
  • Develop trauma‑informed practice using up‑to‑date research and develop an evidence base.
