We are looking for a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team, who will already have experience of working with people with complex mental health problems and developing psychologically informed practice within a multi-disciplinary team. This is a great opportunity to deliver supervised interventions using CBT, ACT and Compassion focused approaches and formulation lead interventions.
As a member of the CMHT Psychology service, you will work independently under supervision through group and 1:1 approaches. You will also work to provide consultation, supervision, training and service development within the scope of your CAP role.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to help build psychological skills within a well-established team. There is the opportunity for hybrid working. The post-holder will contribute to shaping the vision and delivery of group interventions across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. There is an opportunity to provide supervision to other professionals in the CMHT and represent psychological services in Multidisciplinary meetings. This role will also enable you to build on your service evaluation and research skills.
You will be professionally, and line managed by a Clinical Psychologist. You will be part of the Portsmouth & Southeast Hampshire Psychological Services, which is comprised of 20 Psychologists and Psychological Therapists with expertise in CBT, DBT, CAT, Art Therapy, IPT, ACT, CFT and EMDR.
