Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Admin Officer to join the Ophthalmology admin team at Frimley Park Hospital.

Accuracy and attention to detail are a must. Applicants should enjoy working in a busy environment and you will need to be organised, enthusiastic and dedicated with excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

The role is ideally suited to candidates with administrative experience with a positive approach to change. If you enjoy a complex and varied workload this could be the post for you.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Provide an administrative service to the Department.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Admin Leads and patient Pathway Coordinator to set daily priorities and targets.
  • Plan and organise own work schedule, demonstrating good time management and promptly report anticipated difficulties in meeting deadlines.
  • Obtain and organise information in support of own work activities, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with organisation procedures.
  • Answer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that secure systems are in place for the storage of all resources including computerised information.
  • Assist with booking appointments.
  • Ensure all phone calls are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operate the various EPIC and other IT systems to fulfil the role/department requirements.
