This brand new role has been created purely due to the growth of the business and provides an opportunity to inherit a loyal client portfolio, made of up of an interesting mix of commercial clients of varying size and technical complexity.

This client portfolio is being transferred across from an existing member of the team, therefore, will not be under attack at any point, quite the contrary, the previous account manager will be available assist if needed.

Ideal applicants will have a proven track record in effectively managing a commercial client portfolio, able to achieve a high level of retention. You will be smart, professional and team oriented with a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance; ACII or progress towards would be beneficial, although not essential. CII studies will be fully supported.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary (our client has recently increased salaries throughout the business to reflect the increased cost of living), a car allowance and a very generous benefits package which includes significantly above average pension contribution and holiday allowance.

The City office is fully open and functioning, however, the business is keen to promote a positive work / life balance and is therefore more than comfortable with a mix of home and office working if preferred.
