Job summary

A leading global insurance broker in Leicester is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to manage and develop accounts. The role requires experience with commercial policies but is open to candidates with a Motor background. Responsibilities include sales activities, client engagement, and delivering marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to work within a team.

Job description

We are currently working with a leading global broker who, due to expansion, are recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler. This role will suit an individual who is looking to learn/develop within their career. This individual must have experience dealing with commercial policies, but our client will consider individuals from a Motor background.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake sales activities ensuring delivery of sales and marketing targets
  • Responsible for the management and development of new and existing accounts
  • Working under minimal supervision and be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets
  • Identify and deliver appropriate marketing campaigns
  • Actively engage and support wider portfolio of clients

DAY-TO-DAY

  • Role will be all commercial account handling
  • Opportunity to deal with existing clientele
  • Take ownership of problems and their resolution, seeking assistance where necessary
  • Deal with renewals, MTAs, and new business enquiries
  • Onsite training and support towards qualification

EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of sales processes within relevant market
  • Experience dealing with commercial policies (Motor background will be considered)
