Location: Central Guildford

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 plus benefits including 25 days holiday, Private Medical Cover, Discretionary incentive bonus, Hybrid working after probation, Annual Salary Reviews, 5% employer pension contribution & so much more!

Hours: (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure client documentation is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Investigate client backgrounds, business activities, and ownership structures meticulously.
  • Identify and elevate high‑risk or suspicious profiles to the AML compliance team promptly.
  • Collaborate with the wider teams to streamline the client onboarding process effectively.
  • Vigilantly monitor transactions and report any unusual activity to the AML team.
  • Stay informed about evolving AML regulations and apply necessary updates in the onboarding process.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and guide them through CDD and AML requirements skilfully.
  • Maintain accurate records of all CDD and AML activities for audits and reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance for senior management.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Demonstrated experience in client onboarding within a legal environment is essential.
  • Strong understanding of CDD and AML processes.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to articulate complex compliance requirements clearly and effectively.
  • Familiarity using legal practise management systems is a plus, along with knowledge of Practical Law and LexisNexis (desired).
