The role

As CMD Associate Manager for the Global Aerospace & Defence and Global Real Estate Sectors, you will work across key product areas and offices to deliver a global strategy, including client development, market analysis, profile raising, and ROI evaluation.

The aerospace & defence groups and Global Real Estate Sector at Clifford Chance consist of experienced lawyers providing innovative legal advice across all practice areas.

Sector overview

Global Aerospace & Defence: This sector advises on high-stakes deals for leading companies and service providers, with expertise in asset finance, M&A, sovereign wealth, and public-private partnerships across UK and Europe, including navigating anti-corruption laws and regulations.

Global Real Estate: An established and growing sector focusing on the full property lifecycle, from acquisition to exit, with a focus on executing complex deals and expanding capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee sector-specific go-to-market strategies, manage marketing spend and ROI, enhance sector visibility, collaborate with global practice leads, and support client relationship activities.

Lead cross-practice and international proposals, plan client communications, and support profile-raising activities like directories and awards.

Collaboration

Enhance team support for client relationship building and market positioning, fostering collaboration across legal professionals and teams.

Key activities

  • Manage financial and business activities for the sectors, providing strategic insights.
  • Collaborate on business development and marketing plans.
  • Leverage sector knowledge to identify opportunities and promote expertise.
  • Engage in client initiatives and oversee flagship events.
  • Serve as the global contact for sector-related inquiries.
