Reports to: Senior Client Advisor Department
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of management reporting
- Preparation of CIS returns
- Preparation of statutory reporting
- Year-end opening balance adjustments
- Preparation of Corporation Tax returns
- Company secretarial services
- Data processing - including utilising systems to streamline processing
- Reviewing work from a Client Assistant prior to publishing this within Xero or relevant accounting system
- Go to person - for initial client queries
- Software support for clients
- Xero and app setups/training
- Budgets/forecasts with clients
- Assist with administration
- Training Client Assistant role
Ad hoc projects & General responsibilities
- Managing client's expectations and delivery up to date nancials on time, every time
- CPD and ongoing training
- Ensure con dentiality of sensitive client data
- Direct communication with clientsli>Working with other team members in order to meet deadlines
- Identify opportunities to improve/streamline internal processes
- Technology expert - ability to train others on accounting systems and add-ons
- To act in accordance with the business' values and competency framework

- Ability to communicate with direct line managers
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients
- Good accounting knowledge
- Use of IRIS, Xero, Excel preferable but not essential
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English
- Previous experience within an accounting practice preferable (1-2 years)
