Overview

Cleaning Team Leader Contract: Banking Location: Edinburgh, EH12 9BH. Hours of work: 37.5. Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00. Contract Type: Permanent. Hourly Rate: £12.90.

You will be responsible not only for your own cleaning duties but also for leading, supporting, and motivating your cleaning team to maintain an exceptional standard of service for both customers and colleagues.

The Role

• Supervise and support cleaning operatives to deliver high standards across your area
• Carry out general cleaning tasks, including offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, and floor maintenance
• Ensure correct use of chemicals and adherence to cleaning procedures
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety standards
• Lead by example, motivating the team to uphold service excellence
• Report hazards, near misses, or incidents to your manager promptly
