Job Summary
Supervise and lead daily cleaning operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance while maintaining inventory and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily cleaning operations to achieve efficient and high-quality results
- Allocate duties and develop work schedules for cleaning staff to optimize team productivity
- Inspect work areas regularly to identify and resolve cleanliness or safety deficiencies
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and effectiveness
- Oversee proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies to extend asset life and ensure safety
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely requests for cleaning materials to maintain uninterrupted operations
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe working environment and meet compliance standards
- Manage staff attendance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to uphold team discipline and motivation
- Respond promptly and professionally to client or management requests and complaints to maintain service quality
- Prepare and deliver reports and updates to management to inform decision-making and operational improvements
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven experience in a cleaning or supervisory role demonstrating effective team management and operational oversight
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety standards to ensure safe and compliant cleaning practices
