Overview

Royal Mail is a well–loved brand with a large community presence. Royal Mail P&FS are recruiting for Cleaning Operatives at North West Super Hub.

Job Reference Number: 326878

Pay: £12.21 per hour.

Benefits: 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme and Defined Contribution pension scheme plus car parking.

Contract type: Fixed Term 6 months

Working hours: Part time, 16 hours per week, Weekends Only. Working from 2pm to 10pm, either as part of a team or as the only cleaner on site, ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces to a high standard.
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment (full training provided with a first day induction).
  • Work safely and professionally in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
About You
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Naturally friendly with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to communicate with customers and managers while following Health & Safety requirements.
  • Reliable, self-motivated with a keen eye for detail; able to work on your own initiative and manage your time as you may be managed remotely.
