Job summary

A facilities services company based in the UK is looking for a Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness at a prominent shopping destination. This role involves delivering cleaning specifications according to a set schedule and providing customer service. The ideal candidate should have good attention to detail and reliable communication skills. A uniform will be provided, and experience is preferred, but training will be offered. Flexible working hours with overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site cleaning specifications within Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Clean specific areas according to the schedule as instructed.
  • Ensure cleaning cupboards are kept tidy and stocked.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Report any hazards to the Manager/Supervisor.
  • Provide clear handovers to colleagues.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and stored correctly.

Cleaning Operative

Location: Mango, Teesside Shopping, Goodwood Square, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees TS17 7BW

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday – 2 hours per day; 10 hours per week (07:00 – 09:00hrs). No work on Sundays.

Rate: £14.00 per hour

PSS group are a nationwide Soft Facilities Services provider who work with some of the biggest names in retail, entertainment, facilities management and more.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver on‑site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
  • Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Report any hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
  • Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
Ideal Candidate
  • Willing to support with overtime to cover staff sickness & holidays.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
