Overview

In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. Your duties include general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens. You will use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and products, ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and in safe working order, react quickly to client call-outs, and manage waste disposal. You will comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (training provided).

Salary, hours and contract

Salary: £12.85 per hour

Hours: 8 hours per day

Shift Pattern: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 4 on / 2 off

Contract: Fixed Term

Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens.
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and products.
  • Keep equipment clean, well maintained and in safe working order.
  • Respond to client call-outs in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and training.
  • Manage waste disposal in accordance with procedures.
