Job summary

A specialist vehicle manufacturer in Glasgow is seeking a Cleaner/Labourer to support departmental cleaning operations and maintain hygiene standards. We are now recruiting for a Cleaner/Labourer to join our Operations Team.

You will support departmental cleaning operations to uphold high hygiene standards in line with company policies.

Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm and the salary is £12.98 per hour + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:

• Perform cleaning tasks indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety at all times.
• Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and hygienic.
• Support production teams when needed.
• Maintain high cleaning standards and report any issues to your manager.
• Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Help with general site upkeep, including weeding and litter picking.
• Always act professionally and follow good housekeeping practices.
• Learn and follow company cleaning procedures (VCA COP).
• Be a team player and assist colleagues when required.
• Treat all internal and external customers with respect and uphold company values.
• Follow all Health & Safety rules relevant to your role and work environment.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience of working as a general labourer/ previous experience of working as a cleaner within a similar environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of safe working practices.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
