Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at Carlisle Probation Office, Cumbria, CA3 8DR. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of the residents and staff at each sit

  • 10 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am
  • £12.21 per hour
What you’ll do
  • Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
  • Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
  • Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, are cleaned and presentable
  • Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
  • You\'ll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards, while also helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas too
  • This role requires you to have an approachable attitude
What you bring
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential – our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
  • Be a team player and take instruction
