Job Description
We are seeking an experienced candidate for the role of Clean Water Project Manager for an outstanding company in the Water industry. The company has an excellent reputation in the industry; its products and solutions use the latest technologies and innovations to facilitate efficient management of the UK’s waste-water and clean water networks.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the Clean Water industry, including management of field teams and project rollout
- Experience in clean water network surveys and the ability to develop new business
- A proven track record in stakeholder, personnel, and financial management
- Experience applying risk management principles, particularly related to clients, workload, scheduling, and reporting
- Ideally, a Degree or HND in a relevant discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel regularly, spending on average 2 nights a week away from home

These contracts rely on the accurate and efficient installation and maintenance of instrumentation by our Field Engineers. As a total data solution provider, installation and maintenance of this equipment are fundamental to the business.
The Role & Responsibilities
General
- Managing project resources and implementing strategic plans for clients across Scotland
- Monitoring and reporting project progress
- Collaborating with clients to create and implement instrumentation maintenance strategies
- Communicating performance, budgets, and KPIs with company and client management, and reviewing or revising as needed
- Tracking and monitoring budgets at a regional level and communicating this with clients
- Following up on business development opportunities and owning customer assets
- Conducting site visits to review options and viability
- Ensuring contract governance and adherence to specifications
- Quality control and verification of data submitted by analysts and project engineers
- Ordering manufacturer parts and spares for regional teams
Staffing
- Selecting and allocating staff to meet regional targets and ensure adequate experience
- Performance management, training, and mentoring of staff
- Day-to-day liaison with team members
Health & Safety
- Promoting safe working practices to protect staff, subcontractors, and the public
- Identifying and managing risks across activities
- Timely communication of health and safety issues
- Managing traffic safety procedures

- Starting salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, based on skills and experience
