This role is to start ASAP. It is a fabulous opportunity for a Classroom Support Assistant that enjoys working on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis with children with additional needs. This is a large specialist school for students with moderate, severe, and profound and multiple learning difficulties, and autistic conditions between the ages of 5-16 years.

This is a setting with a palpable buzz and feel-good atmosphere where the children feel safe and enabled in all aspects of their learning. Applicants for this role need to be nurturing, patient and committed to making learning accessible to children with severe and complex learning difficulties. Requirements
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience (desirable)
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
