Classroom Care Assistant – Yarm • £13.68 per hour • Start date: immediate

Responsibilities
  • Provide essential support to students within our EYFS and Primary SEND School.
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, administer medications, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, implement behaviour management strategies, and contribute to maintaining accurate records.
  • Demonstrate empathy, effective communication, and adaptability to foster student well-being and academic progress.
Requirements
  • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
  • Be resilient and able to meet demands of a special school setting.
  • Understand the needs of students with learning difficulties.
  • Be reliable in both attendance and punctuality.
  • Drive or be willing to use public transport.
