Job summary

A reputable education agency is seeking a committed Class Teacher for a mixed Year 2/3 class in Grantham, starting in February. This long-term position offers competitive daily pay and a supportive school environment, ideal for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required, and ECTs are encouraged to apply and will receive support.

Qualifications

Pay: 115 - 140 per day (dependent on experience)

We are working with a lovely and welcoming primary school in the Grantham area that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to take on a mixed Year 2/3 class from February. This is a long-term opportunity within a supportive school environment, ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for a mixed Year 2/3 class in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, track and support pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies at all times.
Requirements
