£16.00 per hour (£16.50 after 8 hours)

Driver Hire Lancaster are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for temporary/ad-hoc positions in the Lancaster area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to join a well-established logistics provider offering day shifts only - no nights or night outs required!

Key Responsibilities

• Palletline multidrop deliveries
• Deliveries to a range of businesses within the local area
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
• Adhering to health & safety regulations
• Completing relevant paperwork and vehicle checks

What we need from you

• At least 9 months of Class 2 driving experience
• A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• No major endorsements (e.g., DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good customer service skills, as you'll be interacting with clients during deliveries
• A professional and responsible attitude
