Dustcart / Class 2 Driver – Clinical Waste Collection

Location : DA2 8AH

Salary : £38,500 per year

Hours : Monday to Friday | 4 : 00am starts

Contract : Full-time, permanent

Working Connections are working with a thriving and growing clinical waste company looking to recruit a reliable and flexible Dustcart / Class 2 Driver to join their dedicated operations team.

The Role

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of clinical waste from customer sites, ensuring all work is carried out in line with company procedures and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 / dustcart vehicle to customer sites
• Collecting and handling clinical waste safely and professionally
• Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Working as part of a team to meet operational requirements

ADR Training Requirement

For the right candidate, there will be a requirement to obtain an ADR qualification in several relevant categories.

• All ADR training and certification will be fully funded by the company
• Support and guidance will be provided throughout the training process

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Willingness to obtain ADR certification (company funded)
• Previous waste or multi-drop experience (preferred but not essential)
• Flexible approach to working hours and duties
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
