Overview

Class 2 Driver and Labourer – Temp to Perm – Burntwood, Staffordshire. Temporary role with long hours and regular work. Salary up to £16 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting wheelie bins filled with scrap material
• Transferring contents into ton bags for transit
• Using a tablet to raise purchase invoices and manage routes
• Delivering an excellent level of customer service at every stop
• Offloading and loading products on the back of the Class 2 vehicle

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 Licence (Category C) with minimum 6 months’ experience
• Aged 25+ (insurance requirement)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Skilled, safe, and reliable driver
• Confident with manual handling, heavy lifting, and labouring tasks
• Comfortable using tablets/digital platforms
• Willing to stay away from home up to 2-3 nights per week
• Competent with power tools (advantage)
• Flexibility to work 2 Saturdays per month
