Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver for ongoing work in Perth. The role involves driving a refrigerated trailer and delivering to RDC's across the UK on a 6 on 3 off shift pattern, including nights out. Ideal candidates must hold a valid Category CE driving license, CPC, and have recent HGV 1 experience. Attractive pay rates range from £15 to £17 per hour depending on shifts, with additional allowances. A permanent position may be offered for the right driver.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV 1 Driver within the last year is required.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to work with our client in Perthshire. This is distance work, on a 6 on 3 off shift pattern with 3 nights out. You'll be pulling a refrigerated trailer, delivering to RDC's across the country.

Requirements

• Category CE entitlement on your UK driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• HGV 1 experience, gained within the last year
• Maximum of 6 points for minor offences

This is an ongoing contract, with no anticipated end date. For the right driver, there are excellent prospects for a permanent role.

Pay Rates

• Dayshift: £15.00 per hour
• Nightshift: £16.00 per hour
• Saturday/Sunday: £17.00
• Night Out Allowance: £26.20 per night

Pay rates are PAYE inclusive of holiday pay.
