Overview

HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights. Location: East Leake, LE12 6JX. Pay Rate: £17.01 - £17.70. Shift times: Monday to Friday, starting from 18:00.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services including Drayage, Global freight forwarding and Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver for night shifts delivering construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Delivering plasterboard, plaster, fixings, jointing systems, and ceiling solutions
• Trunking from depot to depot
• Vehicles are loaded by the warehouse, and unloaded by the customer/site
• Average shift length: 10-11 hours

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ability to strap loads securely
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and drivers' hours regulations
• Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude
