Overview

Class 1 Driver Trunking - Nights — Location: Normanton — Shift times: Monday to Friday, start times from 8pm — Pay Rate: £18.13

*As this is a specialised contracted ADR is preferred but not essential*

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Night Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Longer distance routes delivery to customer sites and branches.
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
• Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

What you need to succeed

• HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), ADR is preferred but not essential
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude.
