Job title: Claims Operations Technician – Fixed Term Contract

Location: London

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We’re recruiting on behalf of a Lloyd’s Broker for a Claims Operations Technician on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. This is a technical back-office role focused on processing claims, managing bordereaux and loss funds. Ideal for someone with strong London Market Technical Claims experience and working knowledge of key systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process and reconcile claims bordereaux in line with market protocols
  • Manage loss fund movements, top-ups, and adjustments
  • Support end-to-end data submission processes, ensuring alignment with market and regulatory standard
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, brokers, and carriers on operational matters
  • Support reporting and documentation for internal controls and audit
DAY-TO-DAY
  • Handling incoming bordereaux files and uploading them into relevant systems
  • Managing ongoing loss fund activity and ensuring timely resolution of queries
  • Processing submissions via market systems and maintaining accurate records to support compliance and reporting
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support operational efficiency
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 years in a technical claims operations or support role
  • Proven experience with bordereaux handling and loss fund administration
  • Solid understanding of Lloyd’s market processes and standards
  • Technically adept in using specialist market systems such as ECF and IMR to manage operational claims data
SKILLS
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Effective communicator across internal and external stakeholders
  • Technically competent with London market systems and tools
  • Able to work independently within a structured process
