Overview

Locum Claims Litigation Lawyer – 12 months – Full Time – Hybrid-Working – Up to £55 per hour – North-West

Position: Locum Claims Litigation Lawyer

Organisation: North-West based Organisation

Duration: up to 12 months

Working Pattern: 30-37.5 hours across 4-5 days per week

Working Arrangement: Hybrid, office attendance in the North West 2-3 days per week

Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and complex caseload of claims for a large and well-known organisation in the Northwest without supervision
• Provide clear, risk-based legal advice on liability and litigation exposure
• Prepare legal documentation including pleadings, defences, and settlement agreements
• Claims will consist mainly of property damage, public liability and loss of use
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions as required

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must be a qualified Solicitor/Barrister/CILEx
• Demonstrable experience working in a commoditised claims environment
