Description

18 hours - the bulk of which is to be worked Saturday & Sunday. The remaining hours done on Monday & Friday. What hours you work is flexible as long as the 18 hours are done.

Davies Group are recruiting for a Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a Handler, you’ll be the first point of telephone contact for our customers. So, you’ll need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empathetic service and have experience in commercial motor claims. The Claims Handler would manage a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims including personal injury from inception to settlement.

What will your day look like:
  • Take phone claims reported by drivers
  • Enter email notification of claims onto Davies/Client claims system
  • Work with our repairers (motor) on the progression of the clients damaged vehicle, update the customer throughout and update Davies claims systems.
  • Work with Davies engineering team to ensure the claim is progressing
  • Ensure high level of customer service delivered by phone and email correspondence
  • Comply with set client service levels
  • Ensure quality service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard
  • Work to set targets on the daily management of the diary system alongside ensure working to the daily required handling of inbound calls
  • Undertake appropriate additional tasks provided by the Team Leader
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Minimum customer services experience
  • Desired but not essential – motor claims experience
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • The ability to manage own volume workload via task management
