Job summary

An independent Insurance Broker in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Claims Executive. In this brand new role, you'll act as an internal technical Claims expert while also engaging with Commercial Clients regularly. Your main responsibilities will include managing claims from notification to closure, supporting the Claims Manager, and leading review meetings. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing complex claims, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build key relationships.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience managing large and complex claims across all classes of Commercial Insurance.
  • Experience leading Claims review meetings with clients.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • First class problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Managing claims from notification through to closure, including large and complex losses.
  • Referral point for technical enquiries within the Claims team.
  • Leading Claims review meetings with clients and producing relevant reports.
  • Supporting the Claims Manager in delivering exceptional service.
  • Driving improvements to the Claims function and customer service.
