Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and models for land development projects, including drainage, highways, and earthworks.
- Work closely with engineers to develop and refine designs from concept through to construction.
- Produce and manage drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D to BIM standards.
- Assist with drainage design and analysis, supporting engineers with hydraulic modelling and outputs.
- Ensure all work is compliant with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to design reviews.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing registers.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Civils Technician in the infrastructure or land development sector.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is essential.
- Familiarity with associated drainage software such as InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow (desirable).
- Strong technical drafting and modelling skills with a good eye for detail.
- Understanding of UK design standards, planning requirements, and approval processes.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage own workload to meet deadlines.
