Job summary

A leading infrastructure solutions company in the UK is seeking a skilled team leader for their Civil and Structural Engineering department. You will manage a team of Designers and Apprentices while providing CAD and BIM design support for various projects in sectors such as Water, Transportation, Energy, Nuclear and Defence. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the UK energy/infrastructure sectors, knowledge of CAD/BIM systems, and a minimum of HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professional development within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Extensive UK experience in energy/infrastructure sectors at all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Experience in leading teams and supporting more junior designers.
• Eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Designers and Apprentices including resource allocation and performance management.
• Developing BIM strategies and digital execution plans for projects.
• Ensuring appropriate CAD systems are used and work complies with standards.

Skills

Experience in energy/infrastructure sectors

Knowledge of CAD/BIM systems
