Job summary

A leading civil engineering company in Tyseley is seeking an experienced Civils QS to handle site measurements, cost forecasts, and manage subcontractor relationships. Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in Civil Engineering with a focus on Highways or Structures.
• Familiarity with NEC and JCT contract forms is needed.
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage costs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform site measurements and prepare weekly cost reports.
• Undertake cost forecasts and manage subcontractor relationships.
• Prepare valuations and submit them to clients.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
