Job description
Overview

We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Technician to join our successful Firm of Chartered Consulting Engineers to deal with an increase in workload and assist in the further development and growth of the team. We are seeking a motivated candidate to work on the design of various infrastructure projects. This role predominantly covers the north of England, centred on Leeds, but will occasionally include sites across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Design highway and drainage schemes for commercial, industrial and residential developments as part of the civil engineering design team.
  • Work on road (Section 38 & 278) and drainage (Section 104) design; experience and working knowledge of Micro Drainage, Civils 3D, PDS and AutoCAD are advantageous.
  • Collaborate with project teams to support development and growth of the team.
Qualifications
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK; ideally 2-3 years of UK-based consultancy experience within this field.
  • Recognised engineering diploma or certificate, or working towards one.
  • Understanding of current technical standards.
  • Time management skills.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
