A multinational engineering consultant in Birmingham is seeking a Technician Apprentice to join their Buildings Team. The role involves working on diverse projects and utilizing advanced CAD tools. Civil Engineering Technician – Transformation & Public Buildings.
Ramboll invites you to apply for a Technician Apprenticeship in our Buildings Team, assisting the team in delivering Building Structures design services across a wide range of projects. You will be provided full support to achieve a Level 3 qualification, typically on a day‑release basis, and create a solid foundation for a successful and satisfying career.
The duration of this apprenticeship is typically 27 months (depending on experience). The cost of the Apprenticeship is paid by Ramboll through the Apprenticeship Levy.
Qualifications to be awarded:
On completion of the Apprenticeship you will have satisfied the requirements for registration as an Engineering Technician by the Institution of Civil Engineers in accordance with the requirements of the Engineering Council as the registration body. Potential onward career progression within Civil Engineering could be to continue work as a Civil Engineering Technician, study a Senior Technician Apprenticeship or complete a Degree (apprenticeship options are available) in Civil Engineering.
Ramboll is intending to deliver the Apprenticeship with Learning Skills Partnership. You would typically work for four days a week within your job delivery role and study would be one day a week via online tutor‑led sessions with a cohort of up to 16 other apprentices. Block release of up to four weeks over the duration of the course and you will be required to complete an End‑Point Assessment where you will need to demonstrate that during the apprenticeship you have learned the required knowledge, skills and behaviours.
