We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Civil Engineering Lecturer to join our growing Construction department. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced lecturers and skilled industry professionals who want to take their expertise into the classroom.

If you're already a lecturer, we'll give you the space and support to innovate and grow your teaching. If you're coming from industry, we'll provide full teacher training and fund your qualification while you work - all we need is your passion, knowledge, and commitment to shaping future engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that bring Civil Engineering to life
  • Support and motivate learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals
  • Use your expertise to design exciting schemes of work and assessments
  • Act as a tutor, providing both academic and pastoral support to students
  • Work with a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Have a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Bring recent, relevant industry knowledge to share with learners
  • Be passionate about inspiring and motivating students
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Be willing to gain a teaching qualification (we'll provide the training)
  • Hold Level 2 English and Maths (or be committed to achieving within 24 months)
