Overview

Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced staff for floating support for Children in Kirklees. Everyday is different and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can-do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the children in their care to better their lives, promoting independence, being a role model and achieving a successful home environment for them to live, in line with local authority care plan.

Responsibilities
  • Promote independence and provide a stable home environment in line with local authority care plans.
  • Act as a positive role model for children and young people.
  • Support activities and interactions that help vulnerable children achieve better outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector.
  • Previous experience in a support worker, youth work is essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desired but not essential).
  • Social Care registered.
  • Driving Licence (preferred).
Experience
  • Children and Young People Support: 1 year (required).
  • Experience taking children into community.
