Overview

Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced staff for floating support for Children in Rotherham.

Responsibilities

Everyday is different and you will face new challenges. You will need a can-do attitude, be willing to go above and beyond for the children in your care to better their lives, promote independence, be a role model and achieve a successful home environment for them to live in, in line with local authority care plans.

Requirements
  • 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector
  • Previous experience in a support worker, youth work is essential
  • Flexible around travel arrangements
  • Able to work flexibly (good availability)
  • Resilient and empathetic, with a strong commitment to helping vulnerable young people
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desirable but not essential)
  • Social Care registered
Experience
  • Children and Young People Support: 1 year (required)
  • Previous experience taking children into community
Licence/Certification
  • Driving Licence (preferred) - having business insurance is a plus
