Overview

Children's Social Care is seeking a Team Manager who is highly motivated and passionate about supporting children and families, ensuring children in Wrexham are safe, and supporting the team to develop and grow. The Family Support Team (FST) is a social work team supporting children and families who are open to Children's Social Care under Care and Support Plans and Child Protection. The team is responsible for Care and Support Plans, providing robust support to families and children to ensure best outcomes, management of Child Protection Plans, Public Law Outline, and taking cases to the first court hearing.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with external and internal agencies to ensure collaborative working.
• Lead and support a staff team of 15 Social Workers, 3 Social Care Assessors and 3 Assistant Team Managers.
