Qualifications

  • 12 months experience working in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviour, including supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of Ofsted framework (SCCIF).
  • Knowledge of the Children Act and other relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose.
  • Support and manage the staff to meet the needs of the children and young people.
  • Attend childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information for best outcomes.
  • Ensure each young person has an allocated key worker.
