A leading children's care provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated professional to support home management and lead care planning for young people. You will mentor staff, ensure compliance with care standards, and promote teamwork while helping young people develop independence. The role requires a Level 3/4 qualification in Children & Young People’s Workforce and at least two years of experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting. In this role, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management, taking the lead on shift to delegate tasks and ensure that all records and care plans meet high standards. You'll lead care planning, reviews, and ensure compliance with Children's Home Regulations. As a mentor and guide, you'll promote effective teamwork while managing staff inductions, supervisions, and appraisals. You will champion our young people by supporting their choices, encouraging independence, and responding to challenges with compassion and confidence. Additionally, you'll liaise with professionals and agencies to provide holistic support, manage on‑call duties, and consistently uphold company policies.

Location: Leyland, Lancashire | Pay: £15.50/hr + £60 sleep‑in | Shifts: 2 on / 4 off
