Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required.

Job description
Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management, taking the lead on shift to delegate tasks and ensure that all records and care plans meet high standards. You'll lead care planning, reviews, and ensure compliance with Children's Home Regulations. As a mentor and guide, you'll promote effective teamwork while managing staff inductions, supervisions, and appraisals. You will champion our young people by supporting their choices, encouraging independence, and responding to challenges with compassion and confidence. Additionally, you'll liaise with professionals and agencies to provide holistic support, manage on‑call duties, and consistently uphold company policies.

You’ll ensure high‑quality care, support your team, and help drive positive outcomes for every young person in our care.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Location & Pay

Location: Leyland, Lancashire | Pay: £15.50/hr + £60 sleep‑in | Shifts: 2 on / 4 off
