We are looking for a
dynamic and driven Registered Manager
to lead a high-performing EBD Childrens Home where no two days are the same and every step forward makes a difference.
Youll be joining a small, family-style, therapeutic residential childcare provider known for exceptional culture, high standards and truly child-centred practice.
You will take over a Good in all areas rated, 4-bedded EBD home in Redditch, registered since 2021 and historically achieving excellent outcomes for children.
The organisation operates two homes with plans to grow in the near future, supported by their recently launched in-house training company, enabling internal delivery of Level 3, Level 5 and Level 7 qualifications, plus an in-house PRICE trainer.
The home is already operating at a high standard :
Strong oversight from an RI with 20+ years of industry experience
Reg 44 and Ofsted consistently satisfied with the home's performance
Four young people currently living in the home
All are engaging positively with education (three full-time)
One child is progressing toward reunification with family.
Youll be stepping into a fully staffed home, supported by a capable Deputy Manager and a Senior Team Leader, both of whom work 4050% of their hours off-shift for admin, leadership and support.

Basic Salary : £52,000
£60,000 p.a.
Performance Bonuses : Up to £10,000 p.a. (Ofsted & occupancy)
Probation Bonus : One-off £150
On-Call : Only 1 in 4 weekends

As Registered Manager, youll lead a supportive, skilled and motivated team to provide outstanding care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Your leadership will shape the home’s culture, drive continuous improvement and ensure children feel safe, seen and supported.
You will :
Lead with confidence, compassion and integrity
Create a safe, inspiring and resilient home environment
Champion the needs and voices of young people
Mentor and develop your team (including facilitating QCF Level 3 training)
Maintain compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted expectations
Oversee staffing, budgets, and operational development
Promote independence, emotional growth and life skills
Deliver and evidence exceptional outcomes
