Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse ready to make a difference in a child’s life?

We are seeking an empathetic Registered Nurse in Sittingbourne to provide dedicated, one-on-one care during the day for a child with complex healthcare needs.

If you have a passion for delivering life-changing care and expertise in complex medical support, this role presents a fulfilling opportunity for you!

About the Role

As a Complex Care Registered Nurse, you will offer personalised, high-quality care that allows a child with specialised medical needs during palliative care. Your responsibilities will include managing seizures and administering buccal midazolam, PEG feeding, oxygen management, cough assist and chest physio.

Available Shift Patterns
  • Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 – 20:00
  • We ask that you commit to shifts on a regular basis
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a paediatric client.
  • Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery.
  • Provide 1-2-1 support to a child with Complex Care needs.
  • Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals.
  • Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role.
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
  • Ability to fit seamlessly into the care setting.
  • Compassion, confidence, and a gentle caring nature.
  • Commitment to 2 regular shifts per week.
  • Clean and valid Registered Nurse pin with at least 1 year post-registration experience.
  • Experience in delivering care to complex clients.
