The Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate female Healthcare Assistant to support a young client with complex care needs during night shifts. This is a rewarding role for someone with a genuine passion for providing high‑quality care. You will work closely with the child’s family and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, person‑centred care while supporting emotional well‑being and development. Comprehensive in‑house training and an induction programme will be provided, led by our Nurse Manager, to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver the highest standard of care. We are committed to supporting you throughout your role to ensure the best possible outcomes for our client.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor heart health (dextrocardia) and follow seizure management plan
  • Support visual and hearing impairments
  • Assist with sleep routines and observe for disrupted sleep
  • Monitor for chest infections and support respiratory health
  • Provide mobility support for scoliosis and safe handling for osteoporosis
  • Assist with personal care and developmental needs
  • Report health changes and follow care protocols

Essential
  • Knowledge of infection control
