The Role

• Manage a high-quality caseload of public law matters, including care, supervision, EPO and placement proceedings
• Undertakeadvocacy at all stages, including contested final hearings
• Represent children on the instruction of guardians, ensuring their voices are heard
• Providesupervision and leadershipwithin the department, supporting junior colleagues
• Drivebusiness development initiativesand strengthen your professional network

About You

• Children Panel Membership is essential
• A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with5+ years' PQEin childcare law
• Proven experience incare proceedings, advocacy and working with children's guardians
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience aligned withLegal Aid Agency requirements
• An established following, active caseload, or strong referral network
