Job summary

A legal services firm is seeking an experienced Childcare Paralegal to join their team in Birmingham. In this role, you will support solicitors in public law cases, manage your own caseload, and draft legal documents. Overview

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a forward-thinking local authority, based in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced Childcare Paralegal to join their Legal Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to important public law work, supporting solicitors in delivering high-quality legal services for children and families.

Role

Role: Childcare Paralegal
Umbrella Rate: £20-£25ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £17.98 - £22.32ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing contract
Location: West Midlands – office attendance twice per week

Responsibilities

• Assist and support solicitors in public law cases, including taking instructions.
• Draft court applications, pleadings, and legal documents.
• Manage your own caseload of private law matters and information requests.
• Use case management systems (preferably IKEN) and HMCTS Portal.
