This is an exciting opportunity to thrive in a brand new role which is being implemented as part of the Families First agenda, Together for Children are looking to appoint an experienced worker within a new Child Protection Specialist role within our developing Multi Agency Child Protection Team. We work on behalf of Sunderland City Council to deliver children's services in the city. You will need to build relationships with our multi agency partners and family help teams in supporting Children in Need of Protection which will help us understand what life is like for them and how we can support them and their networks to make long lasting changes. You would do this in line with the relevant policies and procedures in place within Together for Children and Sunderland Safeguarding Board which support us to keep children and young people safe. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Why Choose Us?
