Child Development & Early Years Teacher – Immediate Opportunity

Location: Maldon
Daily Rate: £120 – £320 (dependent on experience & qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time

Are you an enthusiastic Child Development Teacher who thrives on inspiring young people through meaningful, real-world learning? We’re recruiting for an immediate opportunity in Maldon within a supportive and inclusive education setting that values strong teaching, learner wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

The Role

As a Child Development & Early Years Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Child Development lessons at KS4 and/or KS5

Plan and deliver schemes of work covering child development, health, safety, and wellbeing

Support learners through coursework, practical tasks, and exam preparation

Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively

Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification

Experience teaching Child Development, Early Years, or a related subject

Strong classroom management and confident communication skills

A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to start immediately
